We had an enjoyable afternoon and evening at the Cooper's house, swimming and grilling last Saturday. It was kind of a belated Memorial Day celebration and an early birthday for Robert and a Father's Day get-together. Everyone's schedules have gotten so hectic that it's hard to find a day that all of us can be together.
We took our treats from Costa Rica to share. Most everyone liked the plantain chips and a few of us liked the Lizano sauce for rice and beans. A bit too spicy for my taste though. Kevin's signature salsa, Jennifer's delicious pralines, and Amy's brownies hit the spot also.
Robert's pics will be better than mine. Maybe I'll share some of them when I get 'em.
