Charlotte, NC

 Linda Baxter planned a fun excursion on Lake Norman.  Susan Coriher met us at Queen's Landing for a paddleboat ride on the lake with lunch.  It was a beautiful day - the heat didn't bother us too much since the enclosed part of the boat had a/c. 

After our boat ride, we drove an hour north to Susan & Harvey's mountain cabin.  They had spent 5 or 6 years building it, with all of the rock and wood coming from their 80 acres.  It was quite impressive.

Graceland

Barbara and I spent a day touring Graceland.  Elvis certainly lived a lavish lifestyle.
