Heading out southeast of Pagosa this morning to find Echo Canyon Reservoir and then on to Treasure Falls.
We had a great brunch at The Rose in Pagosa Springs and then walked around town. There was a small carnival and an arts and crafts show set up by the river. Fun to watch people tubing the river.
Back to our room for a nap and a few minutes in the motel hot tub before dinner at Boss Hoggs. After dinner we drove south and saw deer grazing in a neighborhood.

Ooo, that bird is so pretty! No clue what kind it is. We ate at The Rose last time we were up. The little craft shows are so fun--I always find something I can't live without.
