March Activities

Two different activities during March - how many does it take to tie a baby quilt? and card-making with Loretta, Jenn, Maureen & Val. Wish I'd taken more pictures at Maureen's house - her new paint colors are wonderful. How can she leave this beautiful home to live for 5 months in an Airstream? Guess she really wants to see Alaska!

Coral Honeysuckle

The hubster planted this coral honeysuckle yesterday. Hope it does well in this spot - I'll enjoy color all summer, according to the nursery guy.

Quilting for Christ

Fourteen of us worked on quilts for Kauffman yesterday. Karen Essen is writing prayer requests on the white board. Charlotte and Carla are tying a quilt. Kathy Ferguson, (visitor) and Bonnie were sewing backs and bindings. Sandra was cutting and Margie was directing traffic. Frieda and Charlotte are pinning a quilt for Mission Actions to tie in March. Karen and Nancy are tying a quilt while Joy looks on. Kathy is trimming a quilt and Rose and Valerie (?) were taking a much needed break. Didn't get a pic of Joy and Valerie ironing backs or Rose sewing backs and binding. I was behind the camera and running around like a chicken with no head. Cori dropped by to pick up some homework and I missed getting her pic also. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and service.
