Another UFO completed

This was a fairly fast project - bought the template in Houston in the fall and it's already finished. Of course, it's only about 8" x 11"! It was a fun hand project and a nice update for this spot in my kitchen. This makes three done off my list of twelve for 2011. I started with the small, easy projects so I'm off to a good start for the year.

New Counters

Spent some time yesterday at a warehouse picking out our slab of granite for new counters. The white spots are from the lighting in the warehouse. Not a good picture but I'm loving this piece of granite. Can't wait to get the kitchen updated.

Squirrel sighting

Here's a small project I've been working on this year. It has been quilted - just needs the binding now. It's a Cynthia England design - sure glad I got that out of my system!

Cutting and making up kits for QFC

Serious work going on here. While cutting fabric for kits, Sherrill takes a break to show Donna the ins and outs of Geocaching. That's Charlotte in the green jacket, working hard on her cutting.

Button Bracelets

Here are some of the kids in Peru making their button bracelets. Amy said they really enjoyed sorting and choosing just the right color button.

A December finish...

Well, somewhat of a finish. It's just a flimsy so we still need to quilt it but progress has been made on it. I had planned to make it larger but decided I was done with those 2 1/2" squares for a while. This one's for me!
