A finished project (well, almost)

At last - Twilight is finished - at least the piecing is done. This is a top I've made for Barb Clark (Batiks Galore) to use in her vendor booth at several quilt shows. The pattern and fabric is from Bold Over Batiks. I'll deliver it Friday so it can go to Chicago in April. Paula will quilt it for me before Nashville in August and Houston in the fall. It was a challenge but I'm pleased with the results.

Jennifer's peanut butter pie

We're ready to eat - a real smorgasbord of decorating - Chinese take-out box for the centerpiece, rooster plates (thanks, Jill) and bunny napkin rings.

OOPS!

I still don't have the hang of posting and including pictures so they come out together on the page. I guess the last post was obvious though! Ron's mom & I were having fun with his dad! They are in fabulous shape for 93 & 91! Still living in their home and driving anywhere they want to go - mostly to church, grocery, and docs. At their age, it really is patch, patch, patch.

Kenna's 18" doll

Nana and Papa gave Kenna a doll for her birthday - an American girl look-alike. She needed pj's so Nana got busy and made her a pair. Looks like she needs slippers now - do I have a pattern for slippers?

My mom, Louise Belote, celebrated her 90th birthday on March 9, 2008. We had a small party for her at her assisted living home. She enjoyed seeing several old friends, neighbors and relatives, as well as many friends from church. 25 of the other residents came to join in the fun.

Fun with Kenna

I had fun beading a purse for granddaughter, Kenna, last Saturday night. I thought she could do it herself but she only liked stringing on the beads. I had to do all the sewing! She'll be 10 yrs. old next week - time sure does fly when you're having fun!
