Shower Renovation

We've had a busy month with our shower renovation.  Here are a couple of before and after photos.  Ron still has some work to do to convert the old shower into a storage closet and the wallpaper needs to come down and be replaced with texture and paint, but showering in the new space is absolutely wonderful!  Texas Tile House in Watauga did the work and they were excellent.  Finished in 10 days, as promised and everyone we dealt with was super nice.  

Miscellaneous March and April Happenings

My friend, Sherrill, reminded me that I've been a slacker with my blogging so here's a quick update:

My iris garden - a bit too shady for a good photo since the trees have leafed out.

Kenna was selected to participate in an exhibit of the work of young artists in the Denton area high schools.  She photographed a plastic skeleton and then drew a part of it.

The family all (except Kevin) went to the opening reception.

 The 2015 Raffle quilt for BCQG is finished!  Mona did an absolutely amazing job on the quilting!  Tickets will be on sale soon.
