Some winners...

Bunnies Running Amok was made by Sally Brown and won the Best of Show award. It's a stunning quilt and sure deserved this honor. The quilting by Susan Corbett is excellent.






Here's another quilt from the TVQG show. It was made by Barb Clark, the show chairman. Starring Buckwheat is in memory of a special kitty she had for 17 years.

Less is more....

I think I like the minimalist look! Note the new TV cart. My smart, inventive husband created that cart from his "stash" of wood and wheels. It was perfect for moving the heavy TV out of the entertainment center. I bet the grandkids could come up with some fun uses for it after we finish with it!

New floors are in!

This is how we've been living for the last two weeks. The new wood floors are in and we can start moving everything back to it's normal place tomorrow. Yeah! The clutter is beginning to get to me. Oh, and the dust. EVERYTHING needs to be dusted. Hmm, guess what I'll be doing next week....

Ribbon winner...

Here's my Sally Collins quilt that I worked on for over a year. Finally, it's finished and won a second place at the Trinity Valley Quilt Guild show this weekend. The show will run for two more days if anyone reading this wants to see some gorgeous quilts.
