Truthical
Shared a fun time Friday night with Amy & Kenna at Gateway Church's Christmas production, Truthical. Go to http://gatewaypeople.com/articles/truthical-searching-truth-broadway for more info. It told the Christmas story using songs from popular musicals, choreography, and costumes that was both entertaining and inspirational. If you're in the DFW area this weekend, put this on your list of must sees - you won't be disappointed.
Backtracking
It had been a long time since I pulled out the good china, dusted it off and set the table. Maybe a couple of years. But the grands are growing up and don't need sippy cups now so I thought this was a good year to eat like grown-ups. I love thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time being thankful for each other.

Nash Farm in Grapevine, TX
Spent a few hours on Saturday at Nash Farm showing children how to make yo-yos. It was a beautiful, windy day and the kids had fun picking cotton and learning to stitch.

Quilting For Christ - Christmas quilts
We had some new faces at QFC today and some we hadn't seen in a while were there. We were busy as bees, piecing star Christmas quilt tops and binding quilts for Possum Kingdom. Enjoyed lunch for a buck with quite a few kids from the local high school.

Biltmore Visit
Ron and I finally toured the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. It was awesome. The pic of me is having lunch in one of the birthing rooms in the Stable Cafe. The pic of Ron is having ice cream at The Hop, a local homemade ice cream shop. The pic with the fireplace is at the McDonald's close to the entrance to the Biltmore - really upscale - even had a baby grand player piano. Most elegant Big Mac I've ever had!

Kenna's visit
Kenna was here this week for a few days and we shopped. What else would a 13 year old want to do? Love the ducky earrings and short shorts. I spent most of the time with her just watching her grow. Can't believe she's so tall!
