Quilting For Christ presentations

We presented quilts at our Quilting For Christ meeting yesterday.  The first quilt was to a Viet Nam vet and he was thrilled with it.  He wrapped up in it and said he could just feel the love.  He had not been welcomed home when he returned from his second tour and I think our presentation made him feel a bit better about it.  He happened to get a quilt that I had pieced and Cindy had quilted.

The second quilt was given to a missionary family that is staying in the mission house now, after their time in India.  It had been a family top, made by a grandmother, and we finished it by tying and binding it.  They seemed very pleased also to have this quilt with so much history in it.
