I'm a bit late journaling about our Anniversary celebration with family. Where has the time gone?
Leaving our wedding on Sept. 3, 1966.
Jennifer & Amy and their families hosted a dinner party on Sept. 10, 2016 to mark the occasion. It was at Jennifer & Kevin's house and was a total surprise. We were told to come at 6:00 in dressy casual clothes. The table was beautifully set with china and flowers with a gold theme, of course. Jennifer & Amy had cooked chicken crepes, green beans, risotto, red skinned potatoes and homemade bread. They had ordered a cake from Candy Haven in Denton and made mints like we served at both of their wedding receptions.
Jennifer and Amy had contacted some of our friends and asked for notes and photos of memories of when we had known them. The scrapbook they made is a treasure. Love reminiscing about the many good times we've shared with friends and family over the last 50 years.

WOW!! You ARE late but what a nice dinner gathering your girls put on. And what a great idea with the scrapbook. So nice!! Ron was a looker and you were pretty cute yourself! Congrats on putting up with each other for so long! LOL Happy 50th and many more to come!!
