First Place Winner


Here's an old photo from 2002 when my DearJane quilt won a blue ribbon at the Bear Creek Quilt Guild Show. That was quite an exciting time for me - the culmination of three years of work on this quilt. There's a special bond between quilters who make those tiny blocks and I treasure the memories I have of those three years. I'm hoping that seeing Brenda P. at our show this weekend will motivate me to start on the patriotic jane I've collected fabric for since finishing my first jane. Maybe I'll have another winner by 2012!
