What a fun time we had at the Hill last weekend! We started out Thursday as a small group (only 4 of us) but grew to 6 on Friday. Thought Kathy and I would get there before Charlotte and Sandra but we got distracted by the goats crossing the road and missed our turn. Finally got on the right road and then missed our next turn! Knew we were lost when we saw the church at Cranfalls Gap so we turned around, turned on the GPS, and finally made it! Those goats were just too cute!
Nancy & Joy arrived on Friday afternoon and got busy sewing right away. Nancy only stayed one night but I think she finished everything she planned to sew.
Here's Kathy, working on some handwork. She was busy both days with the baby quilt for her new granddaughter that's on the way.
Sandra started a new project and was well on the way to finishing the main blocks when we quit to go to the One Stop Shop Hop in Waco. Wonder if she finished on Sunday???
Charlotte worked on some handwork and cooked for us. Thanks, Charlotte! The meals were delicious - Charlotte has quite a gift for hospitality and we were well-fed! Anyone who missed this retreat should try hard to make the next one (if we're invited again) - it is always a lot of fun to get away at the Hill.
