Caribbean Cruise with Karnes & Matsons - Day 6, continued & Day 7

Dinner on Day 6 was our second formal night.  Don't we look nice, all dressed up with somewhere to go.  Guess I forgot to take food pics tonight but it was delicious.   Royal Caribbean's food did not seem quite as elaborate as Holland America and Celebrity, at least as far as I remember.  But those cruises were several years ago and those lines may have cut back too.  The kitchen staff was introduced and we did the waving of the napkins as they entered but there was no flaming baked alaska like I remembered from a past cruise.  Not to say we went hungry though - we had plenty to eat and I have a couple of pounds to prove it!  All in all, it was a great cruise - as Leigh said "It's not about the destination or the food, but the people."   And these long time friends certainly are worth the trip!

 After dinner on Day 6 our entertainment was the Texas Tenors.  Leigh had just heard them in Crockett and we thoroughly enjoyed their show.

Day 7 was another day at sea.  I wandered the ship in the morning and went to a towel-folding class.  Ron was trying to sleep when I left.  When I came back he appeared to be gone.  So I went out again and searched for him.  Came back to the room and noticed his foot sticking out from behind the curtain on the balcony window!  He may have been there the whole time!  Glad he didn't get locked out too!

We tried to go to Johnny Rockets for hamburgers at lunch.  There was an hour wait so we opted to come back for dinner.  The place was almost empty!  Best hamburger and ice cream sundae ever!  The waiters even entertained us, dancing to the 50's music from the jukebox.  A really fun evening.

The entertainment was Saturday Night Fever and Ron & I were the only ones attending.  We almost saw all of it but Ron's cold got the best of him and we left early.  We both caught colds on Day 5 and his cold hit him hard today.
