Day 1 was spent getting on the ship and getting acclimated so no pictures. But Day 2 found us wandering around after breakfast and bumping in to the Karnes.
We took this opportunity to explore the ship and check out the Flow-rider - looks very hard. We did not try it!
On the afternoon of Day 2, we went to the Ice Spectacular. It was a good show and we enjoyed it. Doug needed to learn some tricks about pushing Taska on her walker. He went over a hump and dumped her out. Thankfully she wasn't hurt, but Doug got some instructions from the ship personnel as to how to maneuver her walker with her sitting in it!
We met up with the Matsons and the Karnes for our second dinner on board. The guys had watched the Super Bowl on Day 1 while the girls had dinner in the main dining room. I tried a Latte (first one), thinking it was "free on the ship", only to find out there was a charge for specialty drinks. Our waiter heard our discussion and took pity on me and didn't charge me. I didn't like it anyway! After dinner the girls watched Grantchester in Leigh's suite. Another opportunity arose allowing me to show my frugal ways. Why rent a movie for $11.99 when there are free things on TV to watch?

On Day 3, another sea day we opted for Chops for dinner. Delicious steak with all the trimmings in a quiet setting with excellent service. Chops was a specialty restaurant and our travel agent had given us a voucher for, so our dinner there was free.
I visited the Quilting Group on board one morning. They were from a quilt shop in Montana and were working on a Judy Niemeyer pattern for a table topper. Never thought I'd take a quilting cruise but it did look like a lot of fun for those sea days!
Roy had a mis-adventure on the Day 3. Leigh left their stateroom for something and locked him out on their balcony. He managed to bump his door enough to get it to unlock, so he was able to get on with his day.
