Today is our 46th anniversary and we start the day with our City Tour of Skagway and trip to White Pass Summit. We can't see much on the summit trip as we are fogged in but we do enjoy a few of the stops along the way. We cross the border into Canada and our bus is boarded by the customs agent for a peek at our passports. As we cross back into Alaska, the agent just waves us through.
We stacked some stones as a memorial to our time in Alaska. Joshua 4:7

We got off the tour bus and walked back through the town of Skagway. Found a gift shop devoted to Sarah Palin and a quilt shop. Nothing called my name here so we trudged on.
Visitors to Skagway leave their mark on the rocks by the train depot and docks. We decide to walk back to the ship rather than taking a shuttle - another big mistake! It's much further than it looked and taking the wrong path didn't help. After a bit of backtracking, we get back on the ship and are happy to receive our complimentary cup of hot chocolate and squirt of Purell.
Leigh invited us to her suite for afternoon tea...
Diego was our waiter for the week...
After cheesecake for dessert,
our waiters bring out a small cake for the table to share to celebrate our anniversary - 46 wonderful years with the love of my life!
